As the Advent season is coming to an end I am sure everyone is busy finalizing last minute tasks to prepare for their family gatherings on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. However, Advent is a period of preparation, extending over four Sundays before Christmas and we should not be shortsighted on what we are preparing for – the birth of our Savior.
This is our celebration of Christ’s birth at Christmas; to the coming of Christ in our lives through grace and the Sacrament of Holy Communion; and to His Second Coming at the end of time.
As we close out 2019 together, I want to say thank you for working with us to develop and maintain a strong Home-Academy partnership! We work very hard as an academy to teach children to respect one another by having them learn about how we are both the same and different and that our unique strength is to be found in our wonderful diversity.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
