Home Academy Association Mission Statement

This organization, which brings parents into the fold of school life, is an essential part of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Academy. The mission of the Home Academy Association is to support and enrich the educational endeavors of the academy through increased parental involvement.  Through fundraising, teacher recognition, support, and school improvements, the organization works to promote a connection from home to academy. Some of the goals of the Home Academy Association are to:
 

• Provide a vehicle of communication between parents and the academy through a network of parents and Class Captains.
• Plan and coordinate fundraising activities such as Family Bingo Nights, Supermarket Blitz, Book Fairs as well as many other activities.
• Organize social opportunities for students such as class parties, school dances and many others.

• Volunteer your time for an event
• Offer a personal service or donation: Do you or someone you know have experience with websites, accounting, data entry, design, crafting, etc.? OLHCA may be able to make use of your skill set.
• Class Captain: Become a resource to all the other parents in the class and help support communications.

To become a Volunteer:
Please remember that all individuals who volunteer in the school must complete Diocesan Virtus Training and a mandated background check. To register for a Virtus workshop, please visit www.virtus.org.
