Linda DeLaGarza received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language Arts and a Master of Science degree in Elementary Education from Hunter College CUNY. Upon completion of her Master’s degree, Mrs. DeLaGarza obtained her Permanent New York State Certification. With over 35 years of classroom experience in both the Archdiocese of New York and the Diocese of Brooklyn, her teaching career has spanned from the Pre-K through the 5th grade levels, encompassing all subjects, including foreign language.
In addition to teaching at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Academy, Mrs. DeLaGarza has been the Primary Level Religion Coordinator, Assistant Director of the Drama Club and an active member of the parish community serving as an Extraordinary Minister of Communion. Mrs. DeLaGarza continues to find teaching to be a joy filled experience, guiding her students in their love of learning and their faith formation.
