Catholic Schools Week is here!
This is it! The Superbowl of Catholic Schools is here! We are entering such an important week for our school community. I hope you can take time on Sunday to come visit the building to see the wonderful work our students and teachers have created. I am attaching the schedule so that you can keep track of our busy week! We would love your family to join us at the opening mass at 10AM. It would be wonderful if students could dress in uniform, as well. Our Open House will run from 11am-1pm

CSW Schedule 2025*Lunch menus were due, please submit if you haven’t already.
*Monday, 1/27 is a Patriotic dress down day. I am asking that we use this dress down day to represent our love for being an American or to support a loved one who has fought for our country. I kindly ask the children to refrain from wearing anything that demonstrates a political statement or viewpoint in a negative way.
*Please send in your Duct Tape Fundraiser requests and Game Night RSVP slips! Both letters are attached below.
Duct Tape Fundraiser Family Game Night*Family Game Night will be a fun way to come and play some good old-fashioned board games or card games with friends. Please bring a game from home to play. We will be collecting new or gently used winter items for donation.
*There is NO SCHOOL on Friday, February 7 due to a professional day for teachers.
*February break is February 17-21. Classes resume on Monday, February 24.
*The Father/Daughter dance is February 28.
*The Diocese offers great workshops at no charge-take a look at the attached flyers. This is the last week for registration for the Triple P program.

*Please remember to use the Eliot Avenue doors for morning drop-off. Students should only be using the 71st Street doors after 8am.
*We are practicing our lock down drills and emergency procedures. Last week, students practiced “soft drills” and asked teachers many questions to clarify procedures. This week, we will begin our drills where the entire building will be following drill procedures simultaneously and therefore, phone calls/doorbells may not be answered. Please be advised that we may be in the process of a drill.*Please remember that parents should not be getting out of their cars at drop off. Cars should pull over to allow the student(s) to exit quickly, with or without help from a Morning Duty helper, and then the car should promptly pull away. This avoids congestion and chaos on Eliot Avenue.

Lunch Program
Our Lady of Hope Catholic Academy offers a lunch program daily. Students may choose to bring their lunch each day. Students should not bring glass bottles, soft drinks or excessive amounts of candy. Parents should not bring lunches or drinks from carry-out restaurants. Students are expected to use the same manners required in the classroom during lunch. Courtesy toward other students and respect for and cooperation with lunch monitors are required at all times. Please note that we are a peanut and tree nut free environment.

Early Drop Off & After School Care
We are happy to offer a variety of activities during our after-school program, which lasts until 6:00 p.m. We also offer an early drop off option starting at 7:00 a.m.
